Dr. Katherine Hyde
Katherine P Hyde received a bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude in Biology and Education from Clearwater Christian College in 1993 from Clearwater, Florida. She taught high school Spanish , biology, and chemistry as well as worked in the St Elizabeth’s laboratory in Beaumont, Texas for four years.
In May 2001, Dr Katherine Hyde graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry. She was elected to Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She also received letters of excellence in primary care and contact lens rotations and assisted Dr. Rosa Tang at Houston Eye Associates.
She is bilingual and lived in Argentina for five years and has served in medical and educational mission trips to Mexico and Chile. She has also worked in an externship in Madrid, Spain as well as Eye Center of Texas in Houston, Texas. She is a current member of the Texas Optometry Association. She is active in church and loves to travel with her son.
Kevin Policarpo
Kevin is from Lima, Peru. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He likes soccer and enjoys watching soccer matches of the FIFA world cup that happens every 4 years. His work includes Insurance Claims and Billing, Technician as well as assistant responsibilities.
Rashel Rivera
Rashel has been working at Huntsville Family Vision for about a year as a Receptionist and a Technician. She is involved with teaching contact lens insertion and removal, insurance authorization, and pre-lim examination testing. Rashel is currently enrolled at Sam Houston State University studying pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She hopes to use her marketing degree to get into the makeup industry. She is bilingual, a believer, and likes doing makeup and spending time with friends.
Emily Alvarado
Emily works at Huntsville Family Vision as a receptionist and technician. She is currently attending SHSU pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness. In her spare time, she loves going on adventures and road-tripping. She also loves hanging out with family and friends.
Isaias Loyola
Isaias is a 1ST GENERATION STUDENT AT SHSU. He is working to one day become an OPTOMETRIST. He has a cat who enjoys going on long walks in the park.
Julia Dominguez
Julia is a receptionist and technician at Huntsville Family Vision. She has just graduated at Sam Houston State University with a bachelors in public health and is about to start nursing school.
